Certificates & Excellence

A certificate that survives being checked.

Most learning certificates certify attendance and cannot be verified by the person who needs to. Ours name the work, carry the marks, and resolve publicly in seconds.

What is on one

Three things, all of which can be checked

Nothing appears on a certificate that a stranger could not confirm from the verification page.

What the work was

The modules completed, the cases argued and the submissions marked — named individually, not summarised as a subject and a duration.

Every module listed by name
Submission titles and their marks
The rubric each was assessed against
A line from a real certificate

"Prioritisation under scarcity — decision memo, 8.1/10 (framing 9, evidence 8, falsifiability 7, clarity 8)."

How you performed in the room

Discussion is a graded component of every track, so the certificate carries your discussion score. It is the part employers ask about most and the part no other certificate has.

Discussion score across the track
Number of moderated sessions completed
Scored on evidence and revision, not volume
Why it is on there

Anyone can complete a course alone. Holding a position under challenge, and conceding it when the evidence turns, is the thing a team actually needs.

A verification path

A certificate ID and a URL that resolves for anyone, without an account, without contacting us, and without the holder being involved.

Public verification page and QR code
Shows issue date, holder handle and the work behind it
Revocations are shown, not silently removed
The test

A recruiter with the certificate ID and a phone should be able to confirm it in under thirty seconds. If they cannot, the certificate has failed at the only job it has.

The Excellence tier

What it takes to earn Excellence

Roughly one in ten completions. All three conditions, not a weighted average of them.

01

Top-decile marks

Submission scores in the top ten per cent of the track at your stage, across the whole track rather than on one strong piece.

02

Discussion standard

A discussion score at or above the Excellence threshold, with attendance at every scheduled session in the track.

03

A capstone that stands up

One extended submission assessed by two independent markers, both of whom have to clear it.

Against a completion certificate

Why this one is different

The gap is not design. It is what the certificate is a claim about.

01

What it certifies

A completion certificate: That you reached the end of the material.

An OPM certificate: What you produced, how it was marked, and how you performed under challenge.

02

Who can verify it

A completion certificate: The issuer, by email, eventually.

An OPM certificate: Anyone with the ID, instantly, with no account and no contact with us.

03

What happens if it is wrong

A completion certificate: Nothing. There is usually no revocation mechanism at all.

An OPM certificate: Revocation is public: the verification page says revoked and why, rather than the record quietly disappearing.

How to earn one

Track start to issued certificate

Five steps. The third is where standard and Excellence separate.

01

Complete the track

Every module, including the discussions. A track finished without them does not issue a certificate.

02

Pass the capstone

One extended submission marked against the track rubric, with feedback before you are allowed to resubmit.

03

Clear the threshold

Standard certificate at the pass mark; Excellence needs the top-decile bar across submissions and discussion.

04

It is issued

Within two working days, with the certificate ID, the QR and the public verification URL.

05

Send it anywhere

PDF for application systems, a link for humans, and a profile entry that carries the work behind it.

Questions

Including the sceptical ones

Certificate scepticism is well earned across the industry. These are the honest answers.

No, and we will not imply otherwise. They are not a university qualification. What they are is a verifiable record of assessed work, which is a different claim and one we can actually stand behind.
A certificate says you completed the track to the standard. Excellence says you did it in the top decile at your stage, attended every discussion, and passed a capstone read by two independent markers.
Yes — that is the point. The verification page is public, takes a certificate ID, and never asks the person checking to sign in or to contact us.
Nothing is lost. Every certificate you hold is on your profile permanently — nothing here expires — and can be re-downloaded at any time.
Yes, for confirmed academic dishonesty. Revocations are shown on the verification page rather than the record vanishing — a system that can silently delete is a system nobody should trust.
Increasingly, though we would not oversell it. What consistently lands is the underlying detail: the marked submissions and the discussion score, which are things a hiring manager can read and probe in an interview.
